The video is an in-person discussion with Geoffrey Hinton, and the chip on your shoulder may be coloring your impression of reliability since the news agency and the person being interviewed stand rather apart to any reasonable person. Also, you are quibbling over the word 'smarter' and it doesn't seem like you are interested in opening the conversation further than to make your point of contention known.
