In my personal experience I’ve found stand ups are incredibly easy to sidetrack. One dev starts going into too much detail about a troublesome aspect of their ticket instead of simply stating what the problem is and then organizing a time after the standup to meet with the colleague best suited to assist.

Standups shouldn’t be a rubber duck session with the entire team.
