This company seems like the complete antithesis to some of the pseudo-futurism that seems so prevalent with seemingly revolutionary new products.

I am especially impressed by the practical focus on just doing things that work. While it is just a prototype, it has already hauled over 100k lbs [0]. There is also an interesting interview with Louis Rossmann about right to repair [1].

Maybe someone else can help me articulate this, but there's something so refreshing about the shear practical nature and BS-less MBA-less talk of the founder. It reminds me of some of the videos on Smarter Every Day when he interviews someone who has "hillbilly energy" (for lack of a better description), but upon further inspection it's obvious they're very intelligent, action oriented individuals that have strong engineering principals that produce real-world value.
