if you want to read about the crazy stuff that ferry pilots do, i can recommend kerry mccauley's "ferry pilot: nine lives over the north atlantic". he's got a story in there of ferrying an f35 (the bonanza type) across the atlantic when his extra fuel bladder stops feeding the main tanks so he has to pressurize the system by blowing into the bladder. absolutely bonkers stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt2TGjuwv_s
