Incredibly accurate. I'd guess the rent/hire, wages and other costs for any event are so high, there's little left to make it a great experience

Also we're extremely gullible and will throw good money at anything, so why would a business person put any effort in?

Honestly the Harry Potter studio tour near London is a very nice experience.

And I'm not even particularly a fan of Harry Potter.
