First issue - "church" = denomination, vs "church" = congregation. Many of the latter fail to conform to the stereotypes, or even official policies, of the former.

Second issue - "spreading hate" is a very fuzzy criteria, and churches generally don't have a "Spreading God's Hatred for X, Y, Z, ..." on their home pages.

Strangely the article directly above you on HN page is about churches bombed into rubble in acts of cultural hate.

Link changed.

And more oddly the link to that changed so I made an edit to delete it. FWIW the article I linked to was about Russian demolition of Ukrainian churches and museums to eradicate cultural history.

it read like a standard "MAGA / Qanon" two minute hate to me; perhaps one emitted from a more chemically elevated, less coherent state than usual.
