Well I'm not entirely sure why they did that, Adobe is the original creators of the PDF format [1] as given by this Wikipedia article on PDFs which might mean they meant something more like a viewer for *Adobe's PDF format* rather than *Adobe's viewer* for PDFs.[1]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF
