Of course "normal" is always relative, but in the context of a transcontinental road trip, it's difficult to imagine that anyone has ever driven from London to Lagos in a smaller vehicle than a Peugeot 107!

To get to work, a friend went 200km daily on the Autobahn with a Smart at breakneck speed (160 km/h or so). Thats a small car I would say.

Indeed! They're interesting cars to drive when you get them up to their speed limiter, and whizz past far more powerful vehicles in the outside lane.
