Not necessarily. I was a user of the product myself - until I have a user base that can vouch for the product, I can vouch for it ;)
But I promise to take it off after a few more come!
Ok, I'll rephrase - it's extremely unethical and possibly also illegal in some jurisdictions to pretend to be a normal user and not disclose that you're the creator of the product in your testimonial
