What schools have impressed you?

for me, it seems MIT has the most competent engineers. Harvard/yale talks more than works. Haven't really seen many from Princeton out in the world. Stanford doesn't last, always leaving to go do something else.
no stories. just names. also if your going to complain about a simple answer, go do it in the bathroom looking at the mirror.

I'll also mention: As the above comment implies, schools change over time. Reputations follow decades later.

Different schools have different cultural reputations, though, and those could conceivably make a difference in terms of hiring decisions. I suspect the difference is minimal overall, but probably significant with certain companies.
