“Slavery” is an absurd term here. I forgot that if I quit my employer will publicly flog me and drag me back to my workplace. For anyone who thinks about it for half a second it’s obvious productivity is going to be higher in the office, aside from a few possible edge cases.

Just because people don’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t true. The most profitable companies in the world know it. Look, I don’t want to ruin a good thing (I wfh) but obviously there’s a benefit to having people go into the office. Let’s not deceive ourselves that we have some moral high ground just because that’d be awfully convenient.

Edit: removed some rude language

I have a $50,000 computer at home. At the office I'm forced to use a $1000 laptop and maybe an external screen on the hot desk if I'm lucky and get a good spot.

Productivity wise it's not even close.
