It seems to be working great for me.

One thing I needed to do in iTerm2 to get some of the Alt- commands to work was to change the option keys from "Normal" to "Esc+". (Settings -> "Profiles" tab -> "Keys" sub-tab -> Click "Esc+" radio for Option Keys.
