Show HN: I made a global streaming search for VPN users

I’m a designer starting on an indie developer journey and I built Stream with VPN as a personal tool and realized others could benefit from it too. It displays streaming availability across various countries for major streaming platforms. This feature is particularly useful for VPN users, allowing them to switch to a different location where a title is available, granting access to content that might otherwise be blocked by geo-restrictions.

The project started very small, with a simple search that displayed the data from TMDb and JustWatch API in a user-friendly way. It has since grown into a catalog where you can filter by streaming services, genres, and order by popularity or ratings from IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. You can also create alerts to be notified when movies, TV shows, or specific seasons become available in any country, or save them to a watchlist.

This is my first side-project and something that I’m really enjoying building it and eager to keep improving it so all feedback is more than welcome.
