The obvious foil to the lithium industry is the fossil fuel industry. Lithium mining isn't inherently bad, it's only bad in the case where children are being forced to work in the mines. Fossil fuels is an inherent negative due to its outsized environmental impact.You're throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
