We were just recently discussing how fraud might be used to go after scientist misconduct. Here is one. "Indicted for “defrauding the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of approximately $16 million” in grants".

And the usual riders: "Wang is charged with one count of major fraud against the United States, two counts of wire fraud, and one count of false statements."

“After the report became public, CUNY put possible discipline against Wang on hold to review how it had been leaked to Science.”
