Google results are getting worse. So I made a website that uses Reddit for recs

It scours Reddit for relevant comments and synthesizes them into a helpful list.

Currently the website only does portable monitors because I wanted to start with something I had personal experience with.

I was once personally overwhelmed with the options and wasn't sure what to go for. There were lots of dubious sound brands and I wasn't sure who to trust.

At first I just went for one with lots of reviews on Amazon. It ended up being too dim. I realized a lot of reviews on Amazon were fake.

I then spent hours researching on Reddit and settled on a Uperfect monitor. I was only willing to trust such a dubious sounding brand because people on Reddit recommended it.

It's been working really well so far, much better than what I had gotten at first.

So I created this website so that others don't have to spend hours like me to get a tried and tested monitor that works.

Let me know what you think!

Might have been even more useful before most of the posts became marketing slop after it sold years ago. Can you set it to only look at very old results?

Do you feel that most posts are marketing slops nowadays?

IMO posts maybe but most comments still seem pretty legit and genuine. And I see a lot of mods work hard to remove comments or posts that seem to have ulterior motives.

I can set it to look at very old results but that means it'll be based on potentially outdated opinions. At least for the current category (portable monitors), the models improve pretty fast.
