Ask HN: Any book recommendations for higher management positions?

She's asked for some reading recommendation on managing managers in a technology company (communication, setting goals/KPIs, meaningful feedback, coaching/mentorship, etc.).
"The Manager's Path" although being one of the best books I've read, is mostly focused on having the engineers being fairly near to you in the organization chart.
Do you have some good reading recommendation for building a good set of skills in senior management positions?

It's not necessarily tailored to a tech company but it does cover some of the topics you've mentioned.
