Yeah. I wish subtle design cues didn't turn folks off from useful software. That said, when I was test driving terminals a few months ago, I saw WezTerm and just skipped it because the main image shows the opacity-enabled terminal with a Cyberpunk image in the background, and that just seemed…amateurish? Dunno.This article is convincing me to give it a second look.
