Recently, while surfing the web, the author came across a website with a UI that truly resonated with them. Using Wappalyzer, they discovered the site was built with Tailwind CSS. Intrigued, they searched for a similar Tailwind UI library but found none.
Seeking help from Claude, an AI assistant, the author engaged in a back-and-forth, trying to replicate the UI. Though Claude got close, something was missing. However, when the author provided a snippet of the site's CSS, Claude nailed it, even suggesting additional components in the same style.
Inspired by this breakthrough, the author decided to create the "NeoRetro UI" library, registering the domain NeoRetroUI.com and launching the project. They built and released the library from scratch, now available on GitHub. Though still in its early stages, the NeoRetro UI offers a fresh, nostalgic design for developers to explore. Feedback and contributions are welcomed!
