Ask HNs: Junior Engineers Using ChatGPT?

I have a few junior engineers that work for me. I notice they are all just using chat gpt. Chat gpt makes some hard to notice bugs that unless you program a bunch you won't notice, or writes code that is inefficient. If they don't actually write code they aren't going to learn this stuff. We are paying these guys well over 6 figures. Is this the future were all people are going to do is use ChatGPT?

Yea seeing the same thing. Makes code review a lot harder to do because the bugs are often a lot more subtle.
