After Google shoving manifest v3 down our throats I think it's time for some regulator pressure on them.

An advertisement company should really not have such a stranglehold on web browsing.

Manifest v3 is entirely avoidable. You have the option (on most proper systems) to select a browser for yourself and protest Google's client-side issues. If you're having Manifest v3 shoved down your throat, it is probably your OEM's issue more than Google's.

What isn't competitive and will be scrutinized, is Google's AdSense business.

I have been using Firefox for a year. And tbh it's just not as good. Lots of websites only target Chrome.

Ex: most video streaming websites will not render more then 720p outside of Chrome or Edge (both chromium).

It's just not a great experience due to chrome / chromiums stranglehold on web browsing.
