Recent Google news change made it unusable. Any way to revert it?

Google news recently switched to endless scrolling (probably trying to mimic social media apps) and made it completely unusable for me. Is anyone else feeling the same?

I had my interest set up in google news: world news, local, Tech, Health and every day I could see couple of headlines from each section. This worked well since I could spend 10~30 minutes a day to see the top headlines from each category I follow and read them.

Now it's endless scrolling and I have no idea if I read top headlines for the day from each section. How can I go back to my previous behavior?
