"The optimism buoying these war industries..." What a line.
I turned down a job working with good people for good pay in this industry. It will happen without me but I couldn't put my best ideas directly into creating weapons of war anymore (there are many stories in that last word). I know war happens and good people will be part of that so I don't think less of people that spend their lives dedicated to war but I wish we had this much enthusiasm and money behind efforts that didn't destroy things.
