Interesting position for me and would love to apply, but I am currently living way too far from Paris (Japan), even though I can work in France without sponsorship. Would the company consider doing this part of the interview remotely as an exception if I managed to progress to that?

The first parts are anyway done remotely. For the later stages, it's something we can do, even if we'd rather we all meet physically.
