Hi HN,

I built PVBenchmark as a community-driven platform to forecast daily solar energy production and benchmark performance against real-world data from other systems. My hope is to give solar owners (or prospective owners) an easy way to see whether their system is performing optimally.

It features location-based forecasts: enter your location, panel orientation, tilt, and capacity to get projected production. It also includes crowdsourced benchmarks: compare your actual data to other users’ systems worldwide, helping you spot underperforming setups or confirm you’re running above average. Originally built for Germany, PVBenchmark now supports English and offers forecasts worldwide.
