This sort of thing was widely discussed a few years ago, probably around the time of CA prop 65. I remember influencers buying their own equipment and were going to test everything.

I’m finding myself more and more nervous about any powdered foods, regardless of the ingredient list. It’s so easy for some sub-supplier to slip in something extra, just to boost their profits by 5-10%.
My cooking uses turmeric frequently, and I recently found you can buy dried turmeric and grind it to powder in a magic bullet. It has the added bonus of tasting better/fresher
