We are modifying the website after doing an analysis with semrush and hotjar.

Note that Hotjar is blocked by Brave by default (and probably other ad-blockers), so the data you get can be skewed, as it no longer represents the more technical audience (which your website might be for, or the people coming from HN).

You have more chances to get accurate stats with a self-hosted alternative, like the one I'm building, UXWizz[0]. Or Matomo[1], but I am not sure how heatmaps/recordings work in their self-hosted version, though.
