Show HN: GithubTracker – Better GitHub Repository Analytics

Hey devs!

When Nuxt 3 beta was first released it was quite a journey to upgrade existing Nuxt apps from v2 to v3 – mainly because the ecosystem lagged behind for quite a while. At the time, I didn’t find a good way to track dev progress and releases across multiple GitHub open-source repositories, which is why GitHubTracker came to life on a rainy weekend.

The app is 100% free and pulls stats from the GitHub API to compute relevant metrics and render neat charts. You can create collections of repositories and get an instant overview of dev activity across all of them.

Metrics include: - Commits - Issues - Pull Requests - Releases - Contributors

The app doesn’t have a backend and all data is stored locally in your browser. Obviously made with Vue/Nuxt ;)

You can also squeeze ‘tracker’ into any GitHub repository URL to get redirected to the respective stats page on GitHubTracker, like so:

https://githubtracker.com/nuxt/nuxt

You can check it out here: https://githubtracker.com

Would love to hear some feedback.
