We are a startup in the Wealthtech space looking to hire our 4th engineer. We are looking for a highly experienced fullstack engineer to join our team. * Familiarity with modern TypeScript and React, + at least one non-TS backend language
* Experience mentoring junior engineers, upskilling one's teammates, and generally fostering a sophisticated engineering culture within or across teams
* Understanding of the infrastructure involved in delivering modern web applications, such as CDNs; networking layers and protocols; observability and telemetry; etc.
* Track-record of mastering new technologies and diving into unfamiliar parts of the tech stack
Nice-to-haves:
* Experience with Python
* Experience with DynamoDB
* Experience with Docker, as well as AWS Fargate and other AWS services
* Experience writing unit tests for frontend components using tools such as Jest and Storybook
* Experience building chat applications, building LLM-based workflows, and/or working in fintech or legal tech
* Familiarity with SRE principles
About the Engineering Team
Our engineering culture is collegial, both in the sense of being friendly, as well as placing an emphasis on continuous learning and refinement of our craft. We are very much into internal tooling, improving DevEx, and constant improvement of our processes.

But here are some details:
1. Raised seed round in November of close to $4m
2. We operate in the Trust and Estates Space and are focusing on AI-driven solutions for people to get that kind of planning done. Have an AI agent with which users interact, have some important LLM stuff in the background too.
3. CEO is a second-time founder. CTO is a smart guy (and very much an IC compared to most tech CEOs I have encountered) who is ex-Facebook (and worked at a lot of other big name tech companies prior).

Time zone is a concern for us at the moment, so (for anyone else reading this), I think it's basically Western hemisphere only right now.
