Openreach want to start installing fibre instead of poncing about with some fantasy only available to the select few

I live in a fairly affluent area in Surrey UK.

Broadband is Shite!

my download speeds rarely go above 1Mbps my upload speeds rarely go above 100Kbps

Only copper cabling in my area no fibre.

I would already be happy if I could get 100Mbps. I can only dream of 50Gbps or even 1Gbps lol
