Perhaps DJT took a liking to Altman after Altman's own sister came out with the sexual assault allegations[1], and Altman's business continues to be hit with an ever-growing list of lawsuits[2]. "One of us! One of us!" style.

Altman clings to the presidential coffers, while DJT clings to Altman's presumed innocence until proven guilty (because DJT is a convicted felon, guilty many times over of sexual assault, abuse, and fraud). Quite the villainous duo.
