Ask HN: Which API would you recommend for market data?

I'm working on a Python-based web application, and would like (near) real-time data for things like ticker prices (current and historic) and options data (prices, greeks). For the historic data sets, up to just a few years is fine but I would eventually like to be able to pay more money to have access to the full historical data set.

I found marketdata.app that seems to meet my needs. I also found an API from Bloomberg, which would be nice to have just so I can use it as a marketing element (buy my app to get real-time insights from Bloomberg), unless there are other advantages I'm not aware of.

I'm only familiar with AlphaVantage. It seemed pretty comprehensive.

I have no experience personally in the area but I heard Alpaca was good a couple years ago
