Why is your ire directed at the US here? Spying on each others citizens is one thing, but the UK is attempting to both prevent the US from having meaningful consumer encryption and destroy trust in US corporations.

I’m a bit shocked that an ostensibly tech site seems fine with the UK trying to destroy consumer encryption globally.
