Show HN: An AI SAT Tutor

It's not a secret that current models have the knowledge to do well on tests like the SAT - we think that the next innovations for consumer education products are going to come by finding ways to help humans learn the most efficiently.
There's two parts to doing well on the SAT:
1. Actually knowing the content that's being assessed.
2. Practice taking the test and using the right strategies.
Orin figures out what you already know and then makes a custom plan to get you to your target score by your test date. You can take as many unique practice tests as you want and set up 1:1 lesson sessions to reinforce shaky areas. We get you up to speed on the test content AND the right strategies.
Why is this worth building? Students that get personalized 1:1 tutoring consistent do better in school (up to two std devs better!), but it's really expensive and inconvenient to get a private tutor. Most SAT prep classes will run you >$1k for ~10 group classes.
So whats the difference? Why do parents spend >$1k on SAT classes, but not on prep software like Khan Academy?
From our conversations with parents and tutors, the answer is simple: personalized instruction and accountability.
Parents rightly believe that personalized instruction will help their kids more than one-size-fits-all courses and content.
Most parents also buy SAT tutors for accountability - it's hard to blow off a tutor who's sitting next to you.
So in the weeks we've spent building Orin, we've hit both of those points. Orin adapts to where you are in your learning journey AND provides the accountability you need. At any point parents can call or text Orin and discuss their student, or Orin can provide regular progress updates.
Please let us know what you think! Especially if you have kids around SAT age - we'd love to help them crush it.
