My PR AI Agent Scored Us Our First Lead on Reddit

Hey, I'm Matteo, co-founder of LangDB, an Open Source AI Gateway written in Rust.

A few weeks ago, I built an AI agent named Amanda to do some low-key PR work for us. Her job? Scour Reddit for discussions on AI gateways and competitors to LangDB, then drop some subtle comments promoting LangDB.

I ran Amanda for just a few hours as a demo. She found some relevant threads, left a couple of casual comments, and that was it. Or so I thought.

Fast forward a few days, and we get an inbound lead. I asked them how they found us, and they said, "Reddit."

Amanda had done her thing, and we had no idea! It’s wild how these AI agents can quietly bring in leads while you’re not even paying attention.
