Hey HN,

I built Retalk.bot after seeing the limitations of current AI chatbots in customer service. Most can only talk, but customers need outcomes.

Retalk.bot can book sales meetings, generate invoices, suggest alternative products for out-of-stock items, and take other concrete actions - providing true customer service on autopilot.

The project is too early stage to fully unveil now, but I'm committed to making it open-source.

Oh damn, I feel kinda bad reading this for the company haha.

It’s definitely a risk, and I think trusting AI too much is still a bit premature.

Retalk.bot will let users create their own workflows and control exactly what they want to allow or not.

In this specific case, I would’ve preferred sending a quote rather than letting someone buy a car directly.
