This works both ways. It shouldn't pander to anything other than the people writing the game. Let creatives be creatives. After that let the free market decide what is and isn't fun to it.

I basically agree.

I do wonder, at some point executives are going to start asking, how do we reach more people, and I wonder if right wing executives think it’s hilarious that they pander to certain groups to increase market share, and everyone blames the woke left for it.

Not that I think it’s specifically a right wing issue, I think it’s a capitalism issue, pandering has been a problem forever and done badly it pisses everyone off.
