Being a jerk in response to other people's work is not allowed here. See https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html and https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html. It's not allowed in general, either, but treating other people's work like this is particularly bad. There's nothing more destructive of the spirit of curiosity and welcome which we want on this site.

If you don't want to be banned, you're welcome to email hn@ycombinator.com and give us reason to believe that (1) it won't happen again, and (2) you want to use HN in the intended spirit in the future.
