So NYC staff are expected to work everyday until 6pm?

Sounds like you're required to be online during 1PM - 6PM, probably for communication purposes. It's really not that bad at all.

* 30 min Zoom call with me

* Technical take home assessment (paid, designed to be reasonably close to the job)

* Panel interview with two engineering leaders

* Virtual onsite
