i doubt its a hardware upgrade. more like a worse test just to make it easier to the system (malice? incompetent?)
mark's original test didn't have side trees that are very obvious not moving when you drive closer.
imho, this test is awful, and some models still failed lol. just pick a desert or a road without greenery so close, like the original tester did. or at least go full willy and draw a tunnel entrance.

I didn't like Mark Rober's video because he only tested Autopilot which is a different software.
Autopilot = simple lane keep assistant from 7 years ago
FSD = the real deal, this can do all the maneuvers, this is what is supposed to become unsupervised according to Tesla
I am interested in the future of Tesla's technology, so testing Autopilot feels irrelevant to me.
