I know it's cliche at this point to call it a bygone era, but of just 20-some years ago. All those areas are now filled with luxury condos: Greektown, Fulton district, Cabrini, etc. I knew Giancana was originally from the near the Maxwell market, but I did not know that Spilatro's family was from Greektown. I thought they were always Elmwood Park, or at least Grand Ave. boys from the start.
