I once installed Linux in 2006. Kinda fell in love with it despite the many rough edges but i realised it was "libre" and that's worth something

Nowadays most stuff just works. sometimes I need to do something on windows and I'm just aghast at the user unfriendlyness. Forced signups, the public secret of spying on you. Why would you do this to yourself?
