The base of my 'belief system' is not arbitrary as it is with religion, which i referenced in my original comment.

We can argue about my 'laws' and you can change it. With religion based 'laws' you can't as its comes from an 'authority'.

I don’t think every religion bases its morals on an “authority”. For example, some place an importance on finding principles in “natural law”. I think that’s an unfair caricature of religion.
