You can't blame Bloomberg for holding SpaceX to their word. Expendable missions are held to expendable standards, and Starship very deliberately chases the controlled recovery method. We really should be starting to see Falcon-level recoveries shaping up now that SpaceX is getting good at it, there's no excuse for "it was to collect catastrophe data" when it's happened three times now.
I'm not a knee-jerk Musk critic but I think the kids would say you're "glazing" right now. The ship blew up, its not the end of the world.
