I was pouring tea from an expensive porcelain teapot, and was annoyed that it was dripping from the spout while we have some very cheap ones at home that get it right.

After the initial "hey, this would be fun to model" thought, realized that it's not that simple after all with a number of recent papers on it. The blog is a nice summary.

Lesson: Take some water with you to teapot shopping!
