Sharing a simple plug-in that auto-translates messages between English & Japanese in Slack. We developed it to solve our own problem: getting a diverse multilingual (English & Japanese speaking) team on the same page. It’s dramatically improved our alignment and team cohesion. If you happen to have the same problem, give it a whirl. We (Fujitsu Launchpad) cover up to 1M tokens/month for free; after that, just use your own OpenAI API key.

Having had the opportunity to work for paypay in Japan. This could have been a game changer for my collaboration with Japanese counterparts. I used to translate every single slack message in google
