Ask HN: Why can't OpenAI, Cursor, Fyxer etc. send their invoices per email?

Every month I need to log in in to our SaaS to download invoices.

If OpenAI, Cursor, Fyxer (and countless others) can't send invoices to their end users via email, it's because it's not that straightforward. And they all use Stripe Billing.

Genuinely asking: WHY?
