An issue I see is that from my understanding the website that Google generates its summaries from aren't receiving a benefit from their contribution. In years to come there will be a reduced incentive to have a knowledge based website if your users aren't engaging with it, nor are you receiving a benefit from your information being used.
You need to incentivize people creating the content you want to learn from and use.
