Exactly, In my opinion every company should start doing Paid work Trials instead of interviews and so called assignments.

I don't see this taking off for experienced job interviewers. Who has the time to take off a week or two for every job they apply to?

It certainly wouldn't work for me at all. For one thing, it would mean I could only pursue one job opportunity at a time, which is too great of a disadvantage to tolerate.

Fortunately, it's very unlikely that this would become a widespread practice so I can just ignore companies that require this.

As with most proposed innovations in job interviewing, this would disproportionately attract desperate people with limited options.
