Wish somebody packaged a non-docker approach. I've seen write-ups for BSD and I've asked if the various OCI respecting "almost docker" tools would work, but people are loathe to invest. I totally get why immich devs themselves don't need to carry this burden btw.
"Just run a Linux docker vm in bhyve" is a low bar get out of jail path. I would far rather have a mapping to jails which did what was needed.
